So being on this natural journey and looking for styles that I could do with my twa led me to hear about the Wash and Go.
Now the Wash and Go is a simple hairstyle for any length. All you have to do is:
- Wash your hair,
- Put in a leave in conditioner
- Use a comb to detangle the hair
- Section the hair
- Apply a generous amount of gel to each section
- And then either you let it air dry or you can add a heat protectant and blowdry your hair.
And you are good to go.
Now I must say that I had ALOT of curl definition when i did this style. I was pleasantly surprised at my results. The problem however was that when my hair dried it was crunchy. I don’t know if it was just me, but my hair felt really dry. Alsoo when it came to washing the gel out, my hair was very tangled and it took a long time for me to detangle the knots etc.
In 2012 one of my goals is length retention, and I don’t want to compromise that with a style that will do the opposite. So even though the wash and go is a great style, its not for me.
What are your experiences with Wash and Go’s?
